In response to the recent executive orders and federal policy changes impacting education, diversity initiatives, and immigration, the Social Sciences division is hosting a critical lecture series. The series will provide historical, economic, political, and sociological perspectives on these pressing issues, helping attendees connect past and present to better understand the forces shaping our present and future.

More than just an academic discussion, this series is designed to empower participants with the knowledge and tools to support vulnerable communities – including the environment – and take meaningful action towards an inclusive and safe future for all. We will explore strategies for resilience, advocacy, and collective action in these challenging times.
