| Admissions & Records |
All students must file an application for admissions to Glendale Community College. You will be asked to give us information about yourself so that we can help you with the kinds of services needed to help you complete your goals and objectives. Federal or state law, or college policies require some of this information. Other information will help the college in deciding whether you need to be sent to our Orientation and Assessment programs. Services available in the Admissions office are:

| Career Center |

| Center for Students with Disabilities | The CSD provides a comprehensive spectrum of services and accommodations, including the following: academic and personal counseling, disability assessment, adapted computer, technology and instruction, academic support and instruction, alternate media adapted physical education, interpreter and note taking services, information and assistance to faculty collaboration with Department of Rehabilitation mobility assistance. Eligibility Requirements: Verification of disability. |
| EOPS |
EOPS program supported by State and Local budget serves students who have been affected by economic, language, social and educational barriers. The mission of the program is to facilitate the successful and timely completion of student goals and objectives through specialized services: Location: SV 3rd floor |
| Financial Aid Office | The federal government and the State of California make funds available for students who need assistance in covering their costs of attending to college. Generally, financial aid comes in the form of grants, loans, or part-time work programs. The State also provides a waiver of enrollment fees (BOG fee waiver) for students who qualify. All students enrolled in degree, certificate or transfer programs should apply for financial aid. Many students pass up the opportunity to receive a grant or fee waiver because they think they might not qualify or don't want to bother doing the paperwork. | Foster Youth |
Guardian Scholars is a supportive network that is committed to empower current and former Foster Youths achieve their academic, career, and personal goals. We encourage student growth and development through meaningful interactions during individual, group, and in class sessions. As a community, we help students obtain success throughout their collegiate journey. Location: SR 2nd Floor |

| Learning Center | The Learning Center provides currently enrolled students with free tutoring in most subjects. Appointments are available for tutoring in math or writing. Tutoring in other subjects is arranged by Learning Center staff. Tutors are students who have been recommended by their instructors and have completed a tutor training course.

| Nursing Counseling |
Nursing Workshops are available through our Academic Counseling office. For information about the Nursing Program please attend a Nursing workshop. |
| Scholars |
High School Seniors who will be graduating in Spring can apply to the program between April and May of each year. The minimum eligibility requirements are: 3.25 unweighted GPA; successful completion of college preparatory coursework. All applicants must take the Glendale College Assessment Exams in Math and English, and place in English 101. (818) 240-1000 x5699 |
| Student Equity |
Glendale College’s student equity plan focuses on increasing access, course completion, ESL and basic skills completion, degrees, certificates and transfer for all students as measured by success indicators linked to the CCC Student Success Scorecard, and other measures developed in consultation with local colleges. “Success indicators” are used to identify and measure areas for which disadvantaged populations may be impacted by issues of equal opportunity. Title 5 regulations specify that colleges must review and address the following populations when looking at disproportionate impact: American Indians or Alaskan natives, Asians or Pacific Islanders, Blacks, Hispanics, Whites, men, women, and persons with disabilities (§54220(d)). | Transfer Center |
Transfer counselors will help make the transfer process as simple as possible and make sure you are aware of all your college options. They will provide you with the best strategies to get you admitted into the college of your choice through counseling, workshops, advising sessions with university representatives, campus tours, and transfer fairs. | Veterans |
Veteran services are provided through the Office of Admissions and Records and Veteran Resource Center.
