Advanced ESL: People, Power & Perspective Pathway (ND)

This certificate is designed to prepare non-native English speakers to succeed in People, Power & Perspective academic and career pathways. Students completing this certificate have achieved academic English skills at an advanced, postsecondary level. They have also achieved success in prerequisite or introductory coursework in a variety of degree, certificate, or general education patterns. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, the student will use English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills at an advanced level of academic proficiency; apply content knowledge of chosen electives in order to select a degree and/or career pathway. Students must complete all required courses for a minimum of 17-18 units.

This certificate does not satisfy the major requirements for the Associate in Science degree.
