Associate in Science for Transfer - Physics

The AS-T in Physics provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AS-T in Physics will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Physics or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system. Please consult a GCC counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution.  Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to Apply appropriate physical laws and mathematical techniques to analyze various physical situations. Perform various scientific experiments and to analyze data to check agreement with theoretical predictions.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Science degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
