Glendale Community College
Home MenuUplift
The Uplift peer-to-peer mentorship program is designed to support first-year students in their transition to college by fostering their academic, emotional, and social growth.
Uplift holistically supports incoming students by creating a safe and welcoming space to foster meaningful connections among incoming and continuing students. Through these relationships, we aim to build a sense of belonging and community that empowers students to achieve their academic, personal, and career goals at GCC and beyond.
While the program centers on supporting students with undocumented identities, all students are welcome to participate and benefit from Uplift.
Through Uplift, you will gain opportunities to participate in mentor/mentee individual meetings, community-building activities, and workshops throughout the course of the program.
Together, we will help you thrive as your most authentic self.
